Week 3 - TEDtalk: Why design should include everyone

1 August 2017

This morning I found a TEDtalk by Sinéad Burke while munching on my breakfast.  The speaker was born with dwarfism and explains the challenges around her and emotional impact it has on her, which she faces every day, as the world around her was designed without short people in mind.

It was incredibly eyeopening, and while her words are especially true for Spatial designer, I am sure that this is an eyeopening talk for any designer. It made me think about how human-centered design is now a thing, but in terms of accessibility, we are still way behind.
