Research: The question about copyright

My dad:
"Another aspect you might want to consider is copyright. Would someone be able to play their favourite music in their digital memorial? And would someone else be able to copy a work that the dead person created?"
My tutor:
"...EULA as expressed by a social media platform’s terms and agreements? what do the contracts say about who owns the content uploaded? "
The fact is: Yes I have been looking into this since Week 11. And here is why I haven't added this into my proposal, and instead decided to research further into this in my break.
I decided against putting this into my research proposal, as I already had to cover a lot of other things and was already at 5000 words. I have started looking into this, but not enough to write about it.
Another reason why I haven't covered this section is that the sources I've found about it are not academic (I'm talking about blogs here...). I personally find that if it is general knowledge, it might be acceptable (but that is my opinion, I might be wrong!) but copyright is legal topic and issue and one can make false statements real quickly and I did not want to run into trouble.
